Blog

I'm guessing that Malaysian bloggers these days are getting very self absorbed. Not only that they enjoy the ability of being able to manipulate the media and people into following the way that they think it's right. A lot of these bloggers would assume themselves to have seen more than normal people. They possess the international quality and world vision but unfortunately for them that they have to end up being trapped in our deary homeland for some reasons. I used to be following certain blogs religiously but I would say I'm no longer have the kind of rush that I used to have. Commercial value, fame and trendiness have overshadowed their sincerity. Now that they need to process every words that published in accordance with a third person demand. They have to comply with greater degree of social responsibility and media ethics. Once they are exposed, they can no longer speak what they want to speak and yet they think they still deserve the greatest degree of freedom of speech. Interestingly, the trend of telling random life stories has evolved into a new dimension with summation of life stories in 1 sentence called the Twitter or micro-blogging. Everyone can talk about random life events in third person soundbite now!

Also, when someone pay these bloggers, they will speak anything good in the interest of those payers. Of course being Malaysians, we can let down anything but the event where we can make more moolahs. I mean this is good, it makes everyone happy in the end but then I get a little bit uncomfortable and disgusted by the attitudes of these bloggers because when you don't pay them they seem to have the tendency to badmouth your products or services (despite the fact that normal people find no issues at all) until you rang them up one day to show them the REAL goodness of your things just to earn few compliments from these bloggers even though knowing deep down that they are just expecting too much. But by force feeding 1 blogger with the best of what you have is just like feeding the entire network of 1000 persons. Profitable in long run.

Bloggers love to claim that they speak up for the everyday persons, working class and all. Bloggers, for most of them actually thronged with feeling of superiority complex inside, they think they are among the top 10% of the population, they think they are different, they think they have the power to change thought, they think they are liberal, they think they are not mainstream people like you and me. The truth is, they are all among the mass of another sickening trend which they have yet to realize.

And they will tell you to f off or don't read their blogs if you don't like, it's their blogs afterall. What a cliche.
