deformed hu lu

A bit sad bcos of the 'Hu2 Lu2'(a kind of hourly glass shaped fruit which often seen in Chinese fairytales.)I used as a protection against bad luck this year according to Chinese Horrorscope!

Well,I'm expecting it'll be dehydrate and then turn out to be a solid dry brownish form where the 'hourly glass' shape still remain unchange and still can be able to expect for it's seeds for one or two but who knows...

During CNY when it still strong and looks juicy...

..........

Now,look this,the top had completely molded with fungi and crumble into shape of deformed...:(

Wtf.

Look the powderish part of fungi,so hideously gross,and to hell is that the top has completely out of shape...*.*

It should be dehydrate without changing out of shape and which it'll turns to be like a bottle or tumbler with the inner part remains empty due to dehydration...

Now seems to be far beyond my expectation.*geram*

~~~~~~~~~~
IELTS reading and listening mock test result hellishly sux.28 and 26?Wahlaueh,2 papers total only get Band 6.75.Still haven't include the writing(diu!) and speaking (diu! diu!).
Whatever,it's only mock.Life goes on...
~~~~~~~~~~

Tomorrow SYUC is going to hold a KL/Selangor interschool Maths. competition,so damn lucky Mr Koshy is involved and asked for our help tomorrow.But then we have to be college ambassador only after all which by no means same as a helper.So lame kena assigned to the furthest part of college which is the place which sits 2 ponderous bulky elephant statues(the elephant walk carpark is consider out of SYUC's compound right?)...and then have to give the visitors direction to SYUC compound via E.Walk-->Condo Hostel-->Sidewalk linking Condo hostel and SYUC-->Foyer-->Bridge to cafe.-->Monash block's lift-->3rd and 4th floor of Monash block-->the classrooms and MPH.Along the way there are 18 of attendances or in a better appellation the 'college ambassadors' to lead those visitors that can't even make their way through the SYUC/Monash tiny college/uni. coumpound -_-.

Well,somehow should be quite fun cos can skip half an hour of Econs class and no Maths class at all *cachinnate*

Oops...the ganbate resolution remember?

~~~~~~~~~~
Wahlaueh!Today the tap water of college's toilet stinks like shit,I mean literally the shit you know?Hai!Really super gross and then I still used it to wash my face until I came out from the toilet then I realised how bad I'm smelling like shit all over...eurghhh!No wonder today everywhere in college is transpiring some undisclose foul smell which originated from nowhere!And that's it the culprit,the pathetic SUNWAY UNIVERSITY COLLEGE's toilet!*pinching nose and pointing finger toward*
Going to shift to new room soon...
dung in house
*open the door*
*pong~*The door shut...
I'm freezed and stunned for 5 seconds as some stupid smells brushed pass my nose until I almost suffocated...
Wait...
Isn't it my hostel unit?
How come it doesn't look like one now?
Dust everywhere,rubbish scattered here and there,overloaded bins,some stupid stuffs placed everywhere and the most blood-boiling loud music blasting...
Despite the need to guess,I'll know who's the idiot that did this,
It's no doubt Mr Stink from room 4(A3A-02 unit).
As I walk pass the alley,horrid smells are like what I've described,just horrible.
Oh yeah,my long lost broom are there visibled again in the little corner of toilet with additional dusts and dirts sticked on.
I'm so like going crazy then I saw this Stinky Man came out and I stare at him nonchalantly with element of hatred inside which I hope he'll be disappear the next day I woke up.
I banged my room door harder than before to show confrontation,and when I saw the other 3 of his stupidity friends came out of his room,I purposely sprayed the air freshener and peticide in front of them and again stare hard at their somehow hideous face for few second(i cant stare any longer or else i'll puke...)
Obviously that Stinky creature is from overseas I think Indon,Arab,IndoChina or Africa.I dunno his complexion looks like all kinds of dirty shades embedded until I can't discriminate it...!
I'm feeling fucking fuck up now and very uncomfortable!
When I think of his hideous look *puke*
When I think of the infamous smells *puke harder*
When I think of he's a Monash Uni. student *sneer*
When I think of I'm gonne live in thin unit for another more than half a year *faint*
Well,somehow,I have to take action tomorrow if this happens to continue.
And this time,I'd got the permission to move to a new room by my parents *cheer*
But before I go,I must hit him hard on his back...*grin*
Watch out you!
I'm feeling so dirty now~
fuck IELTS!
Question of The Day :
Richer rountries should take up the responsibilty to make improvement for the health,education and trade of the poorer countries.
Do you agree?
*You should express your opinion,experience and knowledge in this statement.
What?Am I seeing the wrong thing?"experience"?What they mean?Is it we have to try out the taste of living in a poorer country and write out a journal or whatsoever?Or should we live in the richer country to oversee their point-of-view?
Wtf.
If you still don't get the clue on what the hell I'm talking about?Go take IELTS(International English Language Testing Systen) and truly experient it hard.
As expected,my mock IELTS test was as bad as if you put my face into dung's pile.No doubt,it is the stupidest test i've ever taken.And you know what,it is said that IELTS is far more tougher than TOEFL,wtf!
1.30pm-reading test:"Ok well,since I slurp in a cup off expresso juz know,I'm as sober as a judge now!"*bullshit*In fact I can still felt the perpetual sleepiness in me.I was like"die for sure"!Luckily the reading part still as hard as it seems like before,so no surprise at all which might caused me to faint out of severely shock.The passages were as lengthy as the complete Bible and tricky.But could hardly finish...
2.30pm-listening test:The level of whatever Endorphine,Serotonin,Melatonin had dropped to a half.Sleepy.Couldn't even concentrate on the recording plus the radio that using today was exceptionally tiny(so as the volume...)plus on that Ms Joy that giant was blocking it and caused some kinda interference on the wave which interrupt the normal sound spreading system.Screw it!I hate the Austro-British accent,so darn hard to understand.I mean,hello,this is Malaysia truly Asia ok?As usual,missed out some parts where I just happened to distract for 5 seconds and total missed out 6 question consecutively.So at the end just simply fill in the answer without giving it a fuck!*eyes rolling with heavy eyelids*
3.10pm-writing test:With the oh-so-damn-long 10 minutes break.I managed to rush to the gents to have my face washed as to keep me awake.Went back and saw the question sheet already lying on its position on my desk.At 1st glance,I thought it was NOT BAD though.Ya!Not bad until I misconcepted the graph and did the wrong interpretation.What to do?Did all over again and spent time beyond what they'd suggested.At last,came to the arguement writing part where I think it's very OK provided that I'm afterall a GP used-to-be candidate.Then,I came across that "what?"(the question stated at beginning,scrool back and look for it).Are they expecting some technical writing which requires a bit of researching to be finish off in the suggested divine 40 minutes?Hell to say,I felt like writing rubbish.The Data Response is about unemployment rates and the arguement is something about Economincs too(poverty) which freaks me out like shit!I wrote I think 2 points only as I consider(1 and a quarter pages)!Compare to GP(2 and a half pages?!What the hell am I doing?It suppose to be easier!).And the point that I feel proud of is the globalization one(this is technical writing :p).But will it be counted,for god's sake,I hellishly dunno...Finally,I passed up the answer sheets with liquid paper ink,slashes here and there which makes the whole paper looks much more like rubbish.Man,how rubbishly I am until I ended up in IELTS class.*yell*
Luckily my writing piece is sucks all the time.So, this just doesn't makes any difference on me!Life goes on...
Have the intuition that this mock test will get flunked!
But afterall,I will say..."THIS IS ONLY THE MOCK EXAM"...Nah,the actual one is still 3 more weeks away!Which falls on the holish 18th of March.
~God bless atleast give me band 6.5 or above~
No band below 5/6 puhhhh-leassssssss~ *-*
what?
So far,I feel that IELTS lesson is far more difficult than GP,tasted the bitterness today while practising with the Reading Test.It's like bombarded with super many questions with super long winding lengthy essays and articles!!!Hellish!The time given=1 divine hour.*what the...*
Somehow I can't finish it,cos it really took me quite a lot of time ploughing through the 'chiong3 hei1' essays.I left out the last question,no time to read the last essay given also! *_*
Worse to worse,this Friday gotta stay back to do the IELTS mock *wth* .It's like after maths class rest for an hour then continues for the mock exam.It takes up 3 hours to complete 4 kinds of tasks such as reading,writing and listening!!!Speaking is left out because of insufficient time and it can't be 'mock' also because it did eats a lot of time like approx. 5 hours to finish with the whole class.So,kinda impossible.Therefore,my one and only speaking test will be the actual test itself already!Hell,I din even know the format yet and then no practice at all,cluelessly being thrown to the actual exam!So mean of Mr. Leonard!*evil eyes rolling*
My aim is between band 6-7 enough(highest is band 9).Minimum must get at least band 5.5!
Craps,should've switch to IELTS since last year and not until earlier this year!Or the best just stay put in GP...
But from what I heard from Charles,he said that he din even go through lesson on IELTS.He only knows the roughly format for it upon registration(where he got the sheets of IELTS format explaination attached with the form!)
So,hmm...maybe I'm not the one who being unprepared but have to be glad that at least I've gone through some lessons for IELTS and did few model tests.
Not bad though,good luck to you Charles :) , u can do it since u did before the WELL KNOWN English proficiency test called 'MUET'...lolx :p
Just came back from Pyramid with Andrew cos have to company him to clinic due to the running nose and dry throats for few conservative days!Settled dinner at Manhattan Fish Market and came back hostel.Bought myself a Sudoku book!Oh man,I so in love Sudoku now...
(For those that just come into sense,yes,it is Paris Hilton,the disarray and pandemonium one...)
Don't cha wish your girlfriend was not like her?
Don't cha?
Btw,Angelina Jolie's era is over,sick of it when ppl keep one praising her!
So what if her lips are thick and sexy?
For me,it looks like 2 hanging sausages.
And so what she got hooked on by the sexiest chap?
I believe there isn't a word of eternity or forever ever after in their own dict.
Why don't cha in favour of someone different other than the stereotypical one?
me still me?
I write this post out of nothing.
As time goes by,I feel that I've becoming more trivial and inferior...
For now,I got only me alone to trust for...
I don't believe this world.
It's so deceiveful and hypocritical!
Is that part of the vicissitudes of life that have to go through in order to gain maturity?
Well,if that's so,I'll say fate and life is cruel.
~Trust no one but urself~
Piece of words to my fellow housemate:
Dear Mr. Stinks,
As ur name tells that u r truly filthy,smelly and unfrenly.I dunno where u come from but ur smell came to me faster than ur appearance.I only recall that u r fat,dark,looks dirty and muka tebal/masam type of ppl.What's so proud about u?U r just a pile of shit that happens to walk!
Take my advice,throw away ur that fishy smelly stinky yucky disgusting pair of fake leather PVC made sandal,it really pollute the air to its worst!*pinch my nose*
Luckily I got air freshener... *sneeze...*
Eat up that piece of so called 'rose fragance' soap,honestly,it doesn't smells as good as u thought,it just stinks like ur that pair of sandal.Dun try to put smelly thing on ur own body.I hate it when the combination of both smells fathom my door gap into my room...makes me puke like hell!Seriously ur 'aroma' really stops me from going out my room!Be considerate! *wearing mask*
Don't slam ur door as if it is made of diamond.It's by fragile ply wood ok?Each time u bang ur door,do u know the vibration and the momentum did shattered the whole unit?U might wake ppl up from their dream!I'll see if one day ur whole piece of door will falls out or not?!Not like u even blardy care.*smirk*
Pls dun always bring ur that fren back here and make noises,yelling,screaming like no one business!Hello,u r a uni. student and pls act like one that resembles it.
Wash ur foot palm thoroughly after u wear the stinky sandal,u really print the tiles with ur foot marks and to hell that each one of them stinks too!(unless u mop the floor!)
Lastly,give me back my broom.I put it outside is for everyone to use but not for u this stuck up dude to put in ur room or to use it for ur own!And mind that my broom is the best one among so many old broom outside which either frizzed or crooked!
Dun try ur luck on me! *sneer*
parade
For those who dunno or din even heard about the most happening event of the year in JB,I'm here to present you the fantabulous and acclaimed "Yau SAn"(Cantonese)."You2 Sheng2"(Mandarin) and the "Parade of Gods".It is a specialty of Johor Bahru whereby it has already held for almost a decade.The historical event is origin from our ancestor that migrated or fled to JB where they are from all parts of China which formed the 5 main clans here in Malaysia which consists the Teo Chew,Hokkien,Cantonese,Hakka and Hainanese.
Each of the clan pray their own god and only belief in their own god.Often they'll fought with other clans whenever there's a conflict out of their strong belief in their own god and denied the others.Eventually,the people felt that this problem shouldn't be continues on to happen at its discretion.So in order to stop this,they build the "Johor Old Temple"(which also the oldest temple in Johor which established for 100 over years and now still situated in the heart of Johor Bahru's town surrounded by all shopping malls,shops and hotels but still standing strong...thx to those that carrying the spirit of our ancestors until now...without them we dun even know our own root and rich culture).They combined all the 5 gods from each clan under one temple and at the same time created unity among all the fellow Chinese from diff. clans(where afterall they are still Chinese despite the clan thingy).From that on,people started to pray gods of each other without discriminating and also live in unity/peace until now.
Disclaimer: U may not understand what I'm talking,and what I'd wrote is only the very simplify version.For more details,ask ur grandfolks or great-grandfolks from JB,they'll know better.
So,the parade is something like for the citizens to long/pray for prosperity and blessing through out the entire year.Where people carrying joss sticks through out the whole parade and follows behind the gods.While,some strong build men will take turn to carry the sedan where the gods rest on and they sway the sedan vigorously for every few seconds through out the entire flowing of the parade towards the few kilometers away of the ending point.Women are forbidden on doing this.Those men that touched or swayed the gods are say to be going to have a properous and blessful year,esp. the businessman!
Besides there are also dragon dance,traditional performances,lion dance,stilt walk,line dances,opera singing in dialects,Kung Fu demonstration,Tai Chi,stunting with the giant flags,lorries which carrying lanterns/flowerish lights/giving out candies and so on by many Chinese based guilds.It is so happening and celebrate.Every year the main road in JB town have to close off becos of this and schools that affected will have to finish off early.
The Sultan of Johor used to ban this parade but the Sultan dreamt of those Chinese Gods one night and the Gods asked HIM to open up the parade again or else something bad will happens on HIM...and there after the parade will not failed to occupy the JB town's major streets every year until now.And for your information,this parade is held every year on the 22th day of Chinese New Year on Lunar's calender.
This parade is often anticipate by all JB citizens where we are people that being root and culture-concern.We have to stand up for our own race to prove that we are unity and not a bunch of westernized ethnic.
Thx for those that inherit this culture and make the parade happens.
P/s:Have you noticed that the Gods are so powerful and efficacious that they can even manipulate the Sultan by going into HIS dream.Dun play the fool...
Some photos taken on this year's parade(too bad I left my DC in the car,so just bear wif the low res. camera phone taken's photos):
Big head dolls
At the junction
Traditional Fan dance
They were holding flower basket
Stunt of giant flags
The very famous and acclaim award winning luminiscence dragon
The dragon dance at rapid pace
Lion Dance
The banner and huge crowd
Folks were performing the Tai Chi fan or something which I can't remember
There are so many more pictures taken but I'm just so lazy to upload all,therefore only being able to filter out these few.But no doubt the parade was nice and really in a huge crowd!Btw,there were approx. 20 lorries/vans/MPV carrying different performances!!!
Life's sux...
I'm feeling damn sucky today as I know there's no more long break ahead instead have to bombard by a series of tests,exams and assignments particularly the mock exam and AS exam.Although in mood swing but I can still eat a lot without losing a single drop of appetite(means dun even think of reducing weight!)!
Seriously I hate Law these days,it's like well just go there to listen everything repeat and repeat again like mantra...no signs of any motivation at all!Just purely listening(absorbed from left ear then came right out from the right ear simultaneously...),pathetically,that's the situation now!No fun at all unlike those days' Chemistry,Physics and Bio...art stream is just sooo boring and dull and dry!
As for my hostel thingy,to be honest,my heart is always on the side where I'm more than willing to move to a better room but then I'm 'physically' not allow.Dunno y,just so lazy and tired when think of moving all the stuffs to a different place again and again(traumatized since last year from apt. shifted to condo...hell life threatening).If lucky enough then I can get the room in the same block as now I'm staying but I'm afraid if I only able to get Block B's,then I most probably will hesitate!Although it's near but I can't imagine that I have to pack my stuffs,borrow trolley,move things to trolley,go to lift,go to ground floor,leap through the stairway which linked block A to B,push trolley into lift,go up,unload my things to new room and repeat the same process like 100 times,maybe 50 then!But still a horrible scene to think of...and additionally,have to again unpack all the stuffs and wipe,mop,sweep the place all over,arrange the stuffs in and comes the dead beat of me with perspiring...
Worse to worse if got a bad roommate or housemate and they'll be like,"who'll gives u a damn?",seriously,I like my present hsemates and roommie,since they're all liberal and civilize Chinese exp for the stinks one from dunno where...if I'd get a bad roommie next,and that'll be the 'end of me'...(not the one by Marion Raven)!I dug my own grave then...
So the conclusion I got is that either stay put until middle of the year after finishing AS and use the 1or 2 days of my sem break to move.By that time,most my A-Levels hsemates will be leaving Sunway cos they're going to sit for A2 now...and I can leave without hesitating!(only applicable if still got vacant by that time).Or else,just take the risk and move by next month if only they have vacant too.At last,if both nullified then the most just don't shift and continue to stay on until I leave Sunway(only half a year left mah!)....if only that I can take the hardship.
Why am I being so particular about the hostel for the past few days is becos my collegemate raised the topic again and coincidentally that few days were extremely humid,hot and stuffy at night(recently the night is chill and breezy,funny...my thermometer recorded 28-29 Celsius averagely!))plus on they did fogging within that few days,so now I know that if they ever fogging again,i'll have to shut my windows for few days in order to prevent mosquitos and other creepie crawly come in to seek shelter and suck my blood along(the main culprtie to blame for the mosquitos crisis is the fogging...I juz realise that!)...so just bear with it and see first lor apparently! :p
Tht's all I can do for now...
Just dun feel like wasting my time and energy messing with the hostel issue...
Spend those time on studying or doing tutorials better then!
But then,it won't eats me too much of time oso if come to think about it...
I'm such a paradox now...
Just wait and see,then discuss with parents is what most the important thing at the moment!!!
Ciao.
www.izzue.com
After finished my classes yesterday,I went to bank wif Jess. and K.May.And as expected,there was massive downpour but no need to drench this time cos our lil' girl Jess. is driving now!!!*loud applaud*
So we actually went on an adventurous outing and met wif all kinds of road's condition,below 30kmph driving on NPE,extreme cornering,cumbersome parking process,missed turn and ermm.....few attempt of 'drifting' on the highway and all kinds of vicissitude!Haha,ops...sorry Jess. can I still tumpang u next time?
After banking came pyramid bill-paying of Jess. and she have to fetch K.May home too...by the time reached Midvalley oredi 5pm...then went to www.Izzue.com to buy the nice checker shirt i'd been eyeing on sice last week in One U...it's just sooo nice and simple!
I couldn't spend anymore time in Midvalley cos still thought of going to Zara or Topman or Philosophy to shop...but llook at my watch,omg...Omg...OMg...OMG!6 edi!!!I've to meet mama at Seremban around 6 but oredi 6 and I'm still at Midvalley...!
So,rush to KTM in just a split second and managed to get on the train that came on 6 cos I'm going to Seremban it's just sooo far(1 hr of car journey)...and be remind that I'm taking KTM,the ever slow and delayful commuter in country!
As expected,it took me about 1 and a half hours to reach Seremban...and stupid train stopped at Bdr. Tasik Selatan for about 15 min. for unknown reason!!!diu!
By the time reached Seremban and met up papa n mama,they oredi waited me for around 2 hrs(I'm sorry...cos it's raining and Federal Highway jam like hell and blame me oso for asking Jess to give me ride!oops!)...but lastly reached JB yesterday like 12 am and went to eat until 2am...and headed back to my sweet home!
Smell so nice my pillow,bed,blanket...it's just so diff. from what I've smelled from hostel room!
I'm typing in a hurry cos I'm rushing to town area to watch the god's parade(JB specialty!)...aka 'yau san' ala Cantonese.
And finally my lappie came back to my side...and HP Compaq actually impressed me on their aftersale's service cos I only expect they'll change the defect's keys but they actually being oh-so-nice to change the whole set of keyboard for me!Feel so nice to get my hands on the brand new set of keyboard...and hey!It does smells nice too -_-
present
It's been quite busy this few days(well,not busy for studying as what u all have been expected lor...)
Like I mentioned in the previous post that 10 reasons that depress me recently really drive me crazy and dries up my energy(yah,listless all the time in class),hellish!
To think that I'll sure have some special dates on Valentine?
Haha,that's the biggest jokes on earth...
No lah,went out with Stephanie(ok,she's obviously a gal but taken...hell what am I thinking?!).To my conscience I dun have any intention ok?But kinda strange cos we went out in pair...ok whatever makes you happy!
We went to pyramid to took photo for IELTS registration use and as well as jalan-jalan to see what should we buy for Isti for his coming 17 y.o. b'day on 22th !(*..."Happy Burfff~daeee~tooo~uuuuu..."*)
Well,it's actually not easy to find a suitable present for a guy,as a guy myself,neither do I know what I want for present if people gives me offer...cos what I want is actually will jolly burns out their pocket,hehe!Ok,what about buying a car?iMac?California Fitness' membership?...of cos I won't be so evil to ask people for this kinda gift(and to think that I deserve it?...ur wrong!).
So basically,we just looked out for things selling in Topman,Nike Shop,Adidas Shop,FCUK...cos I think that's what suits Isti best...*snigger*...but the flaw is that all hellishly pricey(hmm maybe I should realise that they're Fcuk...FCUK...Topman...TOPMAN ok?not the commonly beng-ish piece of garments that usually found in Sg.Wang,at least "they" took planes here...
This means that we have to find more people to share the present as we just dunno how much we'll spent on it,so,gathered up 5 persons for the gift.it's actually 2 tees as what Susan suggested(got really thirst of choices lah!).Pyramid also like sucks where limited in variety.
Therefore,we went to One U instead but then spoilt by the variety there u see...and make us feel even confusing haha!hell!And the thing was we met Isti and Kei halfway thru browsing around...got like damn shocked and the next thing I heard was Kei's screaming,lol,so funny in fact we must kept it as secret in order to hide from Isti...so just tell them me and Steph. juz happens to be boring and decided to lepak in mall *smirk*...duh!
At last after rains and storms we settled down with 2 nice creative tees from ThreePointSix and after that continued on to stroll and browse around,we desperstely needed a map cos there is juz hellishly huge(less user frenly than Megamall),got really confused by those old/new wings,oval,high streets...eventhough only 1 floor has already flooded with FCUK,Tough,Roxy,A/X,Zara,Guess...and hell over 300 shop lots in a SINGLE floor.And yeah,we were sua gu ok?Like I blardy care...we shop freely and easily in City Square,Tebrau City,Plaza Pelangi in JB and not pampered by any holy huge malls...I can get my hands on the new Tebrau City just for 30 minutes u see,cool huh!Unlike KL...bleh!
Finally,got exhausted and jammed all the way back to Sunway.
With only 1 hr on interval,I gotta went out for dinner again with Jess and Khim May as Jess was driving(u din hear the wrong thing,Jess did drive nowadays with MARVELLOUS skill I can say! :p)...Din go too far,just managed to eat at Ming Tian and get back to hostel.
Speaking of hostel,well things are floating out the level but I musn't overjoy yet since it's still early to foresee now...dunno to happy or not lor!
Me,"Excuse me,do you all still have any twin sharing a/c room left at this moment?"
Sin(literally 'Sin'ful -_-was busying talking to cleaner replied in hurry),"Why?Hmm...not at this moment cos we have too many students to allocate due to Monash's Intake..."
Me(a bit sien edi!),"Then when can you all give me the room in the shortest of time?"
Sin(again!),"Not at this moment,you should come again at the end of this month and we'll check whether there's anyone moved out cos by that time should be got some students moving out..."
Me,"Uhm,well then,ok...I'll come later next week or literally end of this month,thank you!"
Dunno what to say lah,but at least he din turns me down upon the moment I'm asking him straightaway.That means there's still some hopes rite?Well,i'm basically trying to be pessimistic but the fact is I STAND A CHANCE and THERE'S A BIG PROBABILITY that I can change my room sometimes around next month!!!That's the best gift for my birthday on coming month!!!That's what my intuition tells me...no more sweating while sleeping...no more midnight war with mosquitos...no more dusts and hairs scatter around...no more lower ground disturbance!!!The thing that left to be dreadful is whether I can get a nice roommate this time and whether I'm in the advantage of occupying the LAN port myself alone!Well,not a big problems though as long as I can study comfortable,breathe comfortable and enjoy good night sleep.That's what I concern about more!
I'm blogging this post in the libraby computer lab and many annoying distraction and attention from ppl who craving for the com. I'm using cosit's quite pack now...
Till then,see ya!
5.AS mock 7 weeks to go!
6.AS exam is like 10 more weeks to go!
7.Room damn hot and mosquitos attacking!
8.Most my fellow dinner mates moved out recently!
9.Got so many things to buy but $ not enough.
10.IELTS exam is on next month!!!
community service...
All the while I thought only matriculation based courses will get to undergo community service but I came to know that actually one of the project/assignment of the Moral Studies consists of a practical kind of task,the "Community Service-CS"!
For me,I joined a group of 6 persons including me,steph.,Isaac,Khim May,Lina and Juliana.For your information,we've chosen the task of "drug dispensary" out of so many other tasks like visiting orphanage/old folks home,visiting the aboroginis(orang asli)...etc!
I chose this tasks because I did quite a few visiting to those "homes" before ever since I was in secondary school through the Interact Club and St. John Ambulans.However,"drug dispensary" is a diff. kind of experience.From what I'd heard from our lecturer is that we have to go to some charity/volunteering kind of medical centre at Klang and then help out the med. centre there to do patience registration--->bring patients to doctor(the doctors are those volunteering doctors!!!samaritans leh!!!)--->and the best thing is that we can "prescribe" medicines to patients but of course we actually just dispense the medicines according what the doctor prescribed to the patients lah!!!(if we really prescribe I think the med. centre will 'chap lap' after our visiting,hehe!)
So overall,sounds not bad huh!It's like going to the tsunami blast affected spot to help up the victims there to rebuild their facilities and houses!It's far more meaningful than just go to those 'homes' to play wif children/folks and buy some foods for them then they'll back to normal after we left,it's only a temporary fun for them.
Omg,eventhough haven't go already overjoyed!I'm too much edi wei!!!haha!!!
But no doubt I'm very looking forward to it...I mean what I'd said...really!
I really admire those medical/health related professions not only doctors but nurses,biochemists(?!),biomed experts,nutritionist,psychiatrists,psychologists....and so on.They'll often being neglected and forgotton by the public cos they really help a lot in doing medical researching 'behind the scene' rather than the doctors only.DOCTORS are not the only one who get all the credits ok?
Aiks!I really wanna become medical/health professional(except for doctor)...
But there's shade in my heart and dread...
If you all look back to my previous few posts,should know it clear.
Sunway Monash Condo Hostel
Due to the defect on my lappy's keyboard.It is now under the process of servicing in JB.So,no online for 2 weeks.
It's been a moody and gloomy week so far for this week.I'm now hesitating whether to do ADP(Health Sciences) after my A Level or stick to the art stream(not many choices though).If I stick to art stream most prob. have to do Economics related course rather than LAW(Econs. is the only thing tht I have interest in art's stream so far,and law is a total disappointment for me.).If I go with the flow, tht means I'll have to gain a UK or Aus degree like twinning option's.The problem is tht I prefer American Degree more but if I take Econs' related degree course in US,it's hard to get job there and it's pointless to do courses other than sciences in US according to all my relatives in US.
*sigh*
The problem follows on is regarding the hostel.Now,one of my hsemate can't stand his roommate for sleeping very late and the blasting of music on the unit above ours.So he decided to shift to single room but then the management staff told him that non a/c single has already finished,non a/c single balcony is same as the former one and left only a/c single unit.Therefore,the staff Mr. Sin gave him the room key straightaway immediately after he did the request yesterday(but according to DULLER he said that he can't get the room he wanted even he'd put advance booking earlier last year!!! )
Then I suggested him y dun he takes Jessica's room in Lagoonview instead and share with me providing that it is cheaper than the Sy/Monash's hostel fees and got washing machine and many others facilities which the hostel don't provides.So,ok,I called up Jessica yesterday and ask her to help me to ask her agent.But I came to think over that what will happen to me if my this hsemate(prob. roommie to be)moves out after he finishing his A2 exam on June.Then am I gotta cover his rental too?Rm800 in total exclude utility bills and so on!!!Hell,if tht so,my father will freak the hell outta me then.Cos given this price I can long for a single a/c balcony room in the hostel with 24 hrs online service(although it can't do anything much except web browsing,LAN online games and LAN sharing) which still got balance left.Summore every week got house keeping service unlike the Lagoonview.
So basically if I share wif my tht current housemate it'll be only Rm 400 for the basic rental and the utility bills all will be equally divide among 2 of us.According to Jessica it'll sums up around Rm 470++.The samething in the hostel needs Rm 530 but then they both have their own up and down sides.Here,of cos sharing a smaller room in Lagoonview wif a person I noe is a better bargain.Cos it's equipped wif a/c,washing machine.....rather than my present hostel unit which don't have anyone of that...have to crave for 50 cents coins like hell everyweek bcos of stupid laundry.I mean I dun bother about a/c or not but atleast give the non a/c units a washing machine lah!Is it very hard?Harder task than upgrading the whole block B to fully air-con units?I'm sure many ppl will like me wif very sensitive and allergic nose function so they may dun need an a/c but can we doubt tht they dun need to do laundry at all providing tht the coin operated washing machine are too hassle and within radius 1 km aren't any doby shops(even it has,ppl tends to be lazy to walk all the way there).Really dunno wat they up to.Last year told me no more single unit left and so as this year but suddenly my hsemate got an unit from them spontaneously and the hell is they actually gave him a single room without hesitate?!
Currently my tht particular hsemate is still under 'probation' for that single room cos he dunno whether there is more quiet than the present unit or not.If he really moves to tht room tht means we can't share room at Lagoonview anymore :(
But I think he will most prob. move to the hostel single unit.So,Monday I gotta urge the management either give me a non a/c single room or a/c sharing room 'ON THE SPOT'...if they refuse tht means not fair!
Damn piss off...!The hostel management is really corrupted!they forced ppl to move out due to privatization(wth is that?) and post-staying upgrades of the whole building to a/c unit(do they consider about those tht not willing to stay in a/c unit or dun wanna pay for extra fees?It's like forcing ppl to accept their doing...!grghhhhhhhhh!).Well,they'll say if not willing to pay for the new room fees then just move out lor...afterall they are plenty of ppl struggling to squeeze in to the hostel community!They take it for granted cos they're being pampered by the high demand,so we basically can't tell them wat to do in fact we are the one who pay them.
We just have to sit there and manipulate by them like puppet.No way of disagreement...the only way to express ur unwillingness is MOVE OUT(well,for us out-station students,it's not say that we can move out anytime and find a nearest substitution of accommodating place.)...They hold our weaknesses and make use of that.
*sigh*
More arguements relating the SUNWAY MONASH CONDO HOSTEL management's issue are here:
1. Hostel Management breaks their promise!
2. Students' rights in hostel.
So glad to receive this mail from Taylors College as below:
Hi Tristan,
Thank you for your email and interest in our program.Yes, you know your stuff. Indeed, the ADP accepts students who want tohave a change in the major Arts to Science or vice versa and yes,regardless of majors, the social sciences or liberal education componenthas to be in.Based on your A levels subjects, provided you pass them with at least agrade 'C', you may be able to transfer the following:
However, pls remember that the universities that you will be transferring to ultimatelywill have to look at your A levels cert again.
Law - Free Elective 3 credit hours.(pls remember that its British law and you may plan to go to the US so itmay not transfer)
Economics - 6 credit hours
Math - 5 or 6 credit hours
No exemptions for General Paper, English or IELTS. You will most likelyhave to take a TOEFL before you transfer to the US. Pls dont take it too early as it has a validity of 2 years.Based on this, for your Applied Science program, you will need to spend only 1.5 years in ADP and then transfer to the US for approx 2 years.
If you need more info, pls dont hesitate to ask.
Song He's Night
My 2nd and 3rd aunt are leaving from Msia back to US today and as what I'd expected there were hugging and crying scenes.For me,I'm just holding back my tears cos I dun like to cry in front of people(but hey! tht doesn't means tht I like to cry behind k?)...It's so touching cos we won't know when will they be coming back or when will we going to visit them!Right after we depart from grandpa's hse,we headed to attend the event of 'Crane's Night' where it gathers some of the senior citizens in JB tht hit the age of 70 and above.Fyi,it's organize by Sin Chew Jit Poh(a Mandarin post) every year during the 7th day of CNY.
But I feel like it's only a place for the veterans to compete their 'seniority' where the oldest few will get prices.So funny huh?
Well, as usual my grandpa's which aged 100 y.o. had participated for about 6 conservative years but only managed to get the prices at 1 particular year during his 98.Now,he's officially 100 but beaten down by some 101y.o. folks.Haha,I can see tht my grandpa was so desperate and annoyed as he's already 100y.o. but due to some decades ago's erroneous of the immigration officer which mis-wrote his birthdate a year later caused this long-run 'effect' on him...haha...if only my grandpa realise it earlier,he will be crowned today and steal all the limelight of other old fellows!Too bad luck is not on our side this year where the food were damn blardy awful and then we were away from the lucky draw this year(not even a small hamper)!!!So suay sial!
This year's CNY is very lag compare to last year where I can be able to play fire crackers,go to the Johor Old Temple to pray for blessing and 'Tai Sui',worked for CNY cookies confectionary company,many cousins were present and so many of gambling sessions....and so on(no college-bound was a big factor lah!)
Missed those good old days where all the kiddy us were having fun together...
It's nice to reminisce back all these...
However,we've grown up and those can only be kept as childhood memories.
As usual,the first dish was the same old yucky 'Yee Sang' again...
The above 70's old folks of JB taking group photo.The middle 4 are those tht reached 100 y.o and above!(actually my grandpa's IC is written tht he's 99 but in fact he's already 100,so when the ppl in charge asked him to sit the behind row he refused and determined to sit at the front row eventhough I'd clarified to him the inside-out(well,the organizer can't do anything to him though :P).So he juz rushed to the middle seat after I let go his hand.Then aftertht,he kept one grumbled about it and criticized the ppl in charge of the group photo taking session like non-stop,muahahaha!XD it's like damn funny man!)
PS:btw the performances tht presented this year were pretty sux as so to the foods too!U can't imagine the kind of food we'd eaten and performances tht we'd 'enjoyed' through out the event so far...it all went down to the drain!Thumbs down and shame on the organizer where they increased the price per banquet yet the services tht we get are deteriorating.Are they trying to cheat the money of our fellow old folks?Hope they can bring back the good quality tht they used to have next year cos if(touchwood)my grandpa still around next year,for sure he'll urge to participate the event again...dun let the olds dissappointed k?
